Buzznet: Tokio Hotel’s Bill Kaulitz: ‘It’s A Miracle I’m Still Alive’

Tokio Hotel’s Bill Kaulitz: ‘It’s A Miracle I’m Still Alive’

Tokio Hotel frontman Bill Kaulitz was involved in a car accident last week, totaling his Audi Q7 on the Germany’s Autobahn, he tells Bild.

The 20-year-old rocker, who crashed the day before the MTV Europe Music Awards and still rocked out at the show, spoke about what happened and how he’s feeling now.

On what happened: “I was sitting alone in the car and was on my way to Berlin. I am basically a very careful driver, never had an accident and never go too fast. Suddenly a car pulled in front of me without signaling. While I tried to swerve, I lost control.”

Bill hit the guardrail trying to stop his car.

On how he’s doing: “I think about the accident every day. I think it will be a while before I can get over it. It goes deep. I thought I wouldn’t make it out alive. I’ve never been this close to death!”

“It’s a miracle that I’m still alive. In moments like that we notice what is really important and to cherish one’s life anew.”

Glad he’s okay!

MTV Buzzworthy: Watch Tokio Hotel's New Interviews With MTV Germany!

MTV Germany sat down with Tokio Hotel for a brand-new interview! Because my German skills are essentially limited to "Tokio," "kinder," "Deutschland," "Sprechen sie Deutsch?" (answer: no, obviously), and whatever Google translator spits out, here's what I know:

"Science Fiction, fears, new album, cars, brides - Bill & Tom have made an issue. Here comes the interview with Germany's currently most successful international band."

+ Watch MTV Germany's new Tokio Hotel interviews, and for the love of "Schrei," please, one of you, TRANSLATE this marfar for me! My sub-par Spanish knowledge and pidgin Hebrew are of NO help. :<

PS -- After the jump, read the funniest comment I've read about the "Humanoid" album cover. Also, HOW Gwen Stefani are Bill's pants?

tokio_charlotte: I think the new album is secretly sponsored by Svedka vodka. I'M JUST SAYIN'. In all seriousness, though I love it. Totally awesome and way different from anything they've done before. (Unless you want to go all Robot - Metropolis - Fritz Lang - Ready, Set, Go, which is cool, too.)

MTV: Tokio Hotel's 'Automatic:' Check Out Exclusive Clip And Photo!

Check out a 45-second preview of band's next single right here!

They argued about it, wrote it in less than two hours and are shooting a video for it in South Africa — but so far, there's very little Tokio Hotel have revealed about "Automatic," the first single from their hotly anticipated Humanoid album, due in October.

Until now, that is. Late Monday, the guys in TH reached out to MTV News, asking if we'd like to premiere a 45-second snippet of "Automatic" — and of course we said yes. And they even threw in an added bonus: the first photo of frontman Bill Kaulitz, taken from the set of the super-secret video shoot.

"Automatic" was produced by frequent Tokio Hotel collaborator David Jost — who last week told MTV News that the song was written on a whim, after Kaulitz and his brother/ TH guitarist Tom came up with the idea for the track while driving to their Los Angeles recording studio.

"Bill and Tom were on their way from their hotel in West Hollywood to our studio — originally to record Bill's vocals. Just before the guys arrived Bill called from the car and said that he had an idea for a song which should be named 'Automatic,' " Jost wrote. "We put the vocal recordings on hold that day and wrote down the entire song in less than two hours."

Regardless of how long "Automatic" took to put together, the end result is pretty epic: the track is full of huge-sounding guitars, recalling U2 or Coldplay or even Angels & Airwaves — which seems to fit with what production team the Matrix told MTV News last year, when they described the new TH songs as "strong, anthem-y" stuff with "lots of guitars." The vocals are soaring and massive, aiming straight for the stars, and the drums crash and pop ... and that's not even mentioning the amount of electronic frippery backing it all up. If, as Jost said last month, the album really is influenced by science fiction, well, then it's fitting that "Automatic" sounds like a big, super-charged space cruiser.

But that's just our take on it. We want to know what you think of Tokio Hotel's "Automatic," too. You can let us know in the comments below, or upload your reactions — or footage of you listening to the song — to YourMTV.com.

News - New song.

Hey.

Yesterday someone uploaded a new music from Tokio Hotel, called Love and Death. I won't post the link/video because I'm against that. Universal is working hard to those kind of things never happen. I respect Tokio Hotel rights, and that song has been stolen, so, if I post it, it would be an ilegal thing.

I leave here the lyrics, I thinks there's no problem. Enjoy them and, if you see it, do not download that song, please.

Love and Death

I can give you
You can give me
Something, everything
You are with me
I am with you
Always, Join me In

Love and death (2x)
Don't you mess don't you mess
With my heart
Love and death(2x)
Don't you mess don't you mess
With my heart

(With my Heart (2x) )

Fragile Pieces
Don't regret the sorrows
That we've seen
Take it with us
Step into to
My world
Join me in

Love and death (2x)
Don't you mess don't you mess
With my heart
Love and death (2x)
Don't you mess don't you mess
With my heart

(With my hearth (2x))

All the pain that we've been through.
I've been dying to save you.
Feel the blood in my veins flow.
I've been dying to save you!
Love, am I watching you swim?
Or just seeing you drown?
Is it tragedy or comedy?

(With my heart (2x))

Love and death (2x)
Don't you mess don't you mess
With my heart
Love and death (2x)
Don't you mess don't you mess
With my heart

Automatic OFFICIAL Lyrics!

Automatisch

So automatisch
Du bist wie 'ne Maschine
Dein Herz schlägt nicht mehr für mich

So automatisch
Berühren mich
Deine Hände
Spür alles, nur nicht dich

So automatisch
Deine Stimme - elektrisch
Wo bist du, wenn sie spricht?

So automatisch
Wie du sagst, ich bin dir wichtig
wer programmiert dich?

Refrain:
Wenn du lachst
Lachst du nicht
Wenn du weinst
Weinst du nicht
Wenn du fühlst
Fühlst du nichts
Weil du ohne Liebe bist

Wie automatisch
Renn ich durch alle Straßen
Und keine führt zu dir

Wie automatisch
Folgen mir deine Schatten
Und greifen kalt nach mir

Du bist wie
Ferngesteuert
Statisch und
Mechanisch
So automatisch

Dein Blick so leer
Ich kann nicht mehr
Alles an dir
Wie einstudiert
Du stehst vor mir

CherryTree: Tokio Hotel's Humanoid Album Nearly Ready

"Bill and Tom have just been in Los Angeles to do the final guitar and voice recordings. The production is finished and we're now mixing the album," Jost said in a statement to MTV News on Wednesday

Speaking to MTV, Tokio Hotel's manager David Jost has released some details regarding the new album 'Humanoid'. The band recently finished recording the final guitar and vocal parts, and the album is now in mixing.

"Bill has now compiled a track list including all the songs that will be part of the Humanoid album. According to Bill's latest version, 13 songs will be on the new album."

Humanoid will consist of 13 songs, narrowed down from 25 that have been recorded. Head on over to the article on MTV.com to read more 'behind-the-scenes' details of the recording of the album!

MTV: Tokio Hotel's Humanoid Is Finished, After Brotherly Arguments

Tokio Hotel's Bill Kaulitz

Bill and Tom Kaulitz argued over tracklist, producer says.

They'd already settled on a title and a release date, so it was probably time for the guys in Tokio Hotel to actually finish recording Humanoid, the follow-up to their English-language debut, Scream.

And they have. According to producer David Jost, brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz have just returned from Los Angeles, where they put the finishing touches on the album, which has been in the works for nearly a year.

"Bill and Tom have just been in Los Angeles to do the final guitar and voice recordings. The production is finished and we're now mixing the album," Jost said in a statement to MTV News on Wednesday (August 5). "From the 25 songs we've written these past 12 months, we had gotten to a [final] selection of songs, which we've been focusing on, production-wise for the last months."

Jost went on to say that the Kaulitz have whittled those 25 songs down to 13, which will comprise the tracklist for Humanoid. But it wasn't easy.

"A few days ago, Bill and Tom had a little argument about what should be the final tracklist for the album. But it seems that this internal problem has been solved," Jost wrote. "Bill has now compiled a track list including all the songs that will be part of the Humanoid album. According to Bill's latest version, 13 songs will be on the new album."

And what will those 13 songs sound like? Well outside of some YouTube leaks — snippets from a pair of Humanoid songs, "Dark Side of the Sun" and "Pain of Love" dribbled out back in June — few people seem to know. Jost had previously mentioned that Kaulitz had been drawing inspiration from the world of science-fiction, and earlier this year, production team the Matrix told MTV News that they had recorded eight songs with Tokio Hotel, and that the material was "strong, anthem-y" stuff with a dark edge and "lots of guitars."

In his statement, Jost hinted that the new material might be more somber and stream-of-consciousness. Or at least that's what we think he's saying ...

"Already as a young boy Bill held an immense melancholy within himself. At the writing and recording sessions, his emotional extremes are his greatest asset. In the studio Bill's truth is always his last mood and his latest feeling," Jost wrote. "Sometimes Bill was entering the studio — dreaming wide awake — and then he pulled out those crumpled-up slips of paper with his song ideas on it, from various pockets and bags."

MTV Buzzworthy: FINALLY SOME TOKIO HOTEL NEWS! 'HUMANOID' IS (Almost, Basically...) DONE!

Tokio Hotel's RIDICULOUSLY long-awaited next album, Humanoid, is FINALLY FINISHED. That's not to say it's READY, but it is DONE. The hold up? BILL AND TOM'S SQUEE-INDUCING IN-FIGHTING!

Bill and Tom whittled down Humanoid's potential 25 songs to 13 (what, oh what will become of those 12 songs, hm? I say Tokio Hotel fans DESERVE a bonus CD!), the Kaulitz twins have been in Los Angeles, and now Humanoid moves onto the mixing stage of its getting-borned life.

So what was it like to be IN THE STUDIO (mind... BLOWN at the prospect) with Bill Kaulitz? According to producer David Jost: "At the writing and recording sessions, his emotional extremes are his greatest asset. In the studio Bill's truth is always his last mood and his latest feeling," Jost wrote. "Sometimes Bill was entering the studio — dreaming wide awake — and then he pulled out those crumpled-up slips of paper with his song ideas on it, from various pockets and bags."

"Dreaming wide awake???" Can you EVEN?

Bill Kaulitz HIMSELF had this to say about recording Humanoid: "We have never before put so much time into an album. And although, or maybe even because we have worked on this album for so long, in some way it feels kind of strange to close it now and let it go. Now we have to prepare ourselves again to spend days and nights not in the studio any more but back in the tour bus again."

Okay. Calming. Down. Now. That's what I know. More on Humanoid at MTV News.
