1st interview of Bill, after his surgery

Translation: (with lots of mistakes - but I thing you will understand it nevertheless)

Narrator: He terrified his fans, lasting for weeks Bill couldn't speak.
Now it's back, the voice of the successful band Tokio Hotel.
In this interview Bill tells for the first time, what he gone through.

Bill: 'In my case was, that it ain't done, it was simply there. (sorry for this terrible sentence, but I didn't know, how to translate it...)
And they said, Ok, if we won't remove it, it will come again and it won't be possible to sing for me.
This was a real shock-message after this week, after all this to and fro, after the better messages in between and all the setbacks.
This was the message when I knew, ok now I'm disabled for at least 4 weeks.
Most scared I was about the surgery, sure. About the narcosis, that hit me for six.
Before my surgery I saw a horror film, there was a man -- I don't know how the film was called -- he was in narcosis, but he got everything, but he wasn't able to speak.
He lay there and and the doctors thought everything is alright, the man had had an surgery on (?) his heart.
And the doctors slit him and the man got everything, he wanted to tell them, that he is awake, but he wasn't able to do that, because he couldn't move.
And such things I watched before my surgery and was worried and thought, ok, the most important thing is, that I'll fall asleep and won't get anything. This was the most important thing.

Narrator: 4 weeks he was disabled and he wasn't allowed to listen to his own music.
Alone, in front of the TV, Bill killed the time. The 18-year old singer kept still and was worried because of his fans

Bill: 'It's sheer lunacy, how the fans supported me, how they reacted in this time.
I just thought 'God, hopefully nobody will be angry with me.'
It done good to notice, that everyone is worried and everyone is there.
And everyone goes the way with me and don't walk out on me.
It was really helpful.
There were sweet things, for example a ruff, because they didn't know, what's wrong with me.
There were also inhalers. It's sheer lunacy. One side of our fridge is full off the things I have and there are boxes, with thing I have twice.
It's lunacy -- really, really thing were sent to me.
I couldn't see everything, but the most things.
I think I'm happy to see the stage, to see the people of the Crew and above all our fans, that I can stand there, with a mic in my hand and I can sing and make our fans happy.
The worst thing for me was, that the tour had to be cancelled, that all dissapointed fans had to go home, who waited in front of the locations and so long looked forward to the concert.
I can imagine, how stupid it is.
I was really sorry for all and because of that I'm looking forward to be on stage and make everyone happy.

Narrator: On Thursday Tokio Hotel will leave for America. There they want to introduce their album 'Scream'. Hopefully such a thing won't happen again.

Ele assustou os seus fãs, por semanas não pôde falar. Mas agora está de volta a voz da banda com mais sucesso, Tokio Hotel. Em entrevista exclusiva para o BILD, o cantor conta pelo que passou.

Bill: Foi como isto para mim. Nada funcionou. E então eles disseram, "Tudo bem, se não remover-mos isto ele continuará a crescer e ai não poderás cantar nunca mais", foi um grande choque depois daquela semana... Tudo andava para trás! Melhores foram as notícias dias depois. Chegou a altura em que nós sabiamos algo estaria tudo fora do sitio por algumas semanas.
O mais assustador foi... Por causa da cirurgia, a anestesia geral e coisas do género, e isso deita-te um pouco abaixo. Eu imaginei um filme de terror que eu já tinha visto. Era um homem... Eu não me lembro do nome... de qualquer maneira, era um homem que mesmo com a anestesia sentia tudo, mas ele não podia dizer nada. Quer dizer que ele estava ali dentado e os médicos pensavam que eles estava bem - ele tinha feito uma operação ao coração - eles cortaram-no e abriram-no e ele notava tudo e queria contar-lhes, mas ele não podia porque não se podia mexer...
E claro que eu vi coisas assim, e pensei para mim mesmo, "ok, a coisa mais importante é adormecer e não notar nada daquilo." Foi a coisa mais importante para mim.


Por quatro semanas tudo estava mal. O músico nem podia sequer ouvir música. O rapaz de 18 anos esteve em frente ao televisor, escreveu entusiasticamente e adicionalmente que estava preocupado com os fãs.


Bill: É impressionante o que veio dos fãs, como eles reagiram. Eu estava mesmo a pensar "Oh meu deus, espero que ninguém fice zangado comigo por causa disto" e o que me ajudou muito foi ver que eles estavam preocupados comigo e que alguém está de qualquer maneira lá e que estão comigo assim e não me deixam para trás. Foi de qualquer maneira muita ajuda para mim neste momento. Houve uma coisa muito gira... uma rapariga enviou um "ruff" porque ela não sabia exactamente o que eu tinha. Mas em qualquer caso, há muitas coisas que me enviaram... Foi incrivel. Eu tenho uma parte da casa cheia dessas coisas e são mesmo muitas coisas. Por isso é inacreditável. Montes de coisas chegaram, e eu pensei que não conseguiria ver tudo, mas de qualquer maneira vi grande parte deles.
Uhm... Penso que estou à espera de ver o palco, as pessoas, a equipa, ver todas as pessoas novamente. E principalmente os fãs. Ver o que se passa ali com o microfone na minha mão, o que acontece. E eu sei que consigo fazer a audiência feliz. A coisa pior que me aconteceu na tour foi ter de cancelar os concertos, que todos os fãs tivessem ido desapontados para casa, muitos estavam à espera daquilo há muito tempo. E eu posso imaginar como isso pode ser horrivel, e sim, eu estou mesmo com pena de tudo. Eu quero estar lá de novo para fazê-los felizes.


Já na próxima Quinta-feira, os Tokio Hotel vão para a América. Lá eles querem apresentar o CD "Scream". O que resta é desejar, que o Bill não perca a sua voz de novo.
